Along with its 13.5mm slim optical sensor, BM-Slim3 features Xperix’s proprietary Multi-dynamic Range(MDR) technology, FBI PIV/Mobile ID FAP30 compliance and Android device support. BM-Slim3 also provides developers more physical flexibility with its reduced form factor and the ultra-slim optical sensor ensures robust operation over time. BM-Slim3 provides new and advanced Live Finger Detection(LFD)technology by applying a machine learning method that analyzes and categorizes image patterns according to optical characteristics.
BM-Slim3 supports true plug-n-play by featuring
HID(human interface device) protocol. HID protocol enables
users to scan fingers immediately after physical connection of
USB plug without any set-up or installation steps.
Featuring range-leading powerful 1.0GHz CPU, BM-Slim3 allows standalone
operation with on-device high speed fingerprint extraction and matching.

While providing faster image capture speed of up to 6 ms, MDR technology

light conditions.
BM-Slim3 is the world’s thinnest FBI PIV and FBI Mobile ID
certified FAP30 optical scanner module. The Scanner features large platen
that spans 21.5mm x 26.5mm wide, which is well above the FAP30
standard that spans 20.32mm x 25.4mm.
BM-Slim 3 provides advanced artificial Intelligence-based Live
Finger Detection technology that distinguishes fake fingerprints
made from various materials including clay, rubber, silicon, glue,
paper, film and more.
