RealScan-F is a single platen palm-print live scanner for capturing various types of fingerprints including flats, rolls, palms and writer’s palms. Featuring Suprema’s leading-edge optical & biometric technologies, it is capable of capturing highest quality images regardless of fingers physical conditions. The RealScan-F comes standard with many convenient features such as an integrated color LCD display, voice instruction, foot switch and mobile power supply. The device is FBI certified and offers ideal solution for various criminal ID applications.
The certification provides assurance to
users that RealScan-FC meets or
exceeds FBI interoperability standards and
will work with the Integrated Automated
Fingerprint Information System (IAFIS). It
ensures that the images used are high
quality and supports all phases of
identification for fingerprint experts and
the IAFIS. Appendix F has stringent image
quality conditions, focusing on the human
fingerprint comparison and facilitating
large scale machine one-to-many
matching operation.

meets FBI Image Quality Specification(IQS) Appendix F standard.

RealScan-FC can be easily integrated into diverse applications

and employment background checks.
RealScan-FC features Advanced Rolled Image Construction technology
using Xperix's unique slip detection algorithm for constructing rolled
fingerprint images. With ARIC technology, RealScan-FC performs over 15
fps frame rate in roll capturing which ensures highest image quality and
low error rate.
RealScan-FC is equipped with powerful 400MHz
CPU which enables high-speed image processing in
capturing, storing, processing and transferring
fingerprint data. With the CPU, Xperix's unique
image Pre-Processing technique results more frames
rates in capturing and richer pixel throughput hence
producing better image quality. It also minimizes
device's initialization time to less than one second.
RealScan-FC is comprehensively sealed against invasive moisture, dust and liquid.
Featuring superb IP64 rated protection through meticulous sealing, combined
with extra protective engineering, ensures faultless operation even under harsh conditions.
